Cast iron skillets are kitchen necessities! I’ve had mine for years. I love how you can use them on the stovetop or in the oven, making them very versatile cooking tools! Plus they’re healthier than some other forms of cookware since they’re naturally chemical free, and they add a little iron to everything you cook in them (which is great if you’re iron-deficient)!

Cast Iron Skillet Easter Cookie

Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
1 cup Easter M&M’s (There are a couple of different kinds of these. I used the milk chocolate egg-shaped ones, but there are also almond, peanut butter, and mini versions available. Use whichever you like!)
9-inch cast iron skillet

Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°.
2. Lightly grease your cast iron skillet with vegetable oil.
3. In your large mixing bowl combine your brown sugar and softened butter and beat well with a hand mixer.
