15 Pretty Ideas For How To Upcycle Tea Cups

By Manuela Williams

I love teacups! I can’t seem to pass a pretty one up when I find them at the thrift store.  I like to use them for gifts, I’ve planted in them and I’ve made a teacup birdfeeder out of them for my garden.  I’m a dishaholic and tea cups are a part of the addiction 🙂 Although, I don’t really use them to drink out of too often (they’re so teeny).  So to make me feel better about my “collection”, I’ve collected 15 pretty ideas for upcycling all those great tea cups.

10 tea cup upcycle ideas

So get those dusty tea cups out of your cupboards and do something pretty and useful with them!

Yep, that’s what I thought too! How would I hang it? Cute idea though.

What fun and unique ways to use tea cups! I love them too and have quite a few stashed around the house. I think the teacup clock is my favorite. How adorable it would be in the kitchen!

Hope you are doing good… I’m slowly trying to get back into the swing of blogging now that I have my school rhythm down. Hope to visit more and catch up on all the excitement around your beautiful home!

I’m too much of a tea and tea cup lover to put a hole in one or glue it together. Guess that I’ll just keep using them in traditional ways. Now for a tea shop, I think that clock is impressive!

I rarely use my tea cups to actually drink out of. I find them a bit to wee 🙂

I can’t decide which one is cutest.. They are all such great ideas. I am thinking of trying that wreath for Mother’s Day… I know Mom would love it. And those tie backs are adorable, but I don’t need that idea now. Maybe I’ll remember, huh? Cute ideas. I have been swamped with disorganized jewelry. What a pretty montage.. Two things for sure to try.. Your candles will be wonderful.

Have a fun weekend. (From one china addict to another)

Wow…they’re all so lovely! I’m a dishaholic, too, and have them here and there all over my house. I can’t wait to incorporate some of these ideas – I truly can’t pick a favorite one. My husband bought a miniature tea set for me many years ago and I’ve used it to decorate a miniature Christmas tree for my kitchen counter. I keep it stored and just bring it out every winter. My son wired them to the tree so that they’re very secure. I continue to love your blog…thanks for sharing! 🙂
