These apples would make a wonderful fall or Halloween dessert treat to serve to kids or adults! Anyone who enjoys chocolate is sure to love the delicious flavor combo of chocolate and apples! Experiment with using different kinds of apples, too. You may prefer to use a sweet apple, to complement the chocolate, or a tart apple, to contrast with it. There’s really no way to go wrong, it’s all just what you prefer! This recipe makes two delicious white chocolate apples with milk chocolate drizzle.

White Chocolate Apples with Milk Chocolate Drizzle

Ingredients:

2 Jonagold Apples (or whatever kind you prefer)
4 Packages of Ghiradelli White Chocolate Bars
1/2 Cup Milk
Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
2 Candy Apple Sticks
Wax Paper

Directions:

1. Rinse and dry apples, remove stem and insert one candy apple stick in the center of each apple.
2. Use enough wax paper to accommodate two apples.
3. In a medium size sauce pot melt 2 bags of white chocolate chips on medium heat. Stir milk in gradually, adding only enough milk to encourage melting.
4. When white chocolate is melted hold onto the candy stick and dip apple into white chocolate. Repeat with second apple. Place dipped apples on wax paper.
5. Place apples into refrigerator to cool for about 10 – 15 minutes.
6. Remove from refrigerator and drizzle chocolate syrup over apples. Place them back in the refrigerator to allow chocolate to fully set.

Enjoy your homemade gourmet apples!
