While I chose to use candy cane kisses and heart sprinkles, you can actually make these pretzel kisses with any other kisses or sprinkles that you have on hand. I just like the peppermint flavor! But these would be just as yummy with any other chocolate kiss candy. Also, you can usually find the specialty season/holiday themed Hershey kisses on Amazon long after the holiday has passed. So there’s no reason not to use your favorite chocolate kisses on these pretzels!
Peppermint Pretzel Kisses
Yields: 2 dozen
Ingredients
24 pretzel snaps
24 Wilton white chocolate melts
24 candy cane kisses
Heart confetti sprinkles
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 275°. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Lay the pretzel snaps on the baking sheet, at least 2 inches apart.
3. Place a white chocolate candy melt on top of each pretzel snap and bake for 4-5 minutes or until the white melts are soft and shiny- you do not want them to actually melt.
4. Remove from oven and place an unwrapped candy cane kiss on top of each pretzel snap. Be sure to press down firmly to allow the white chocolate to expand to the ends of the pretzel.
5. Immediately add sprinkles.
Then your peppermint pretzel kisses are ready to enjoy! If you happen to have any left over, you can store them in an airtight container for up to one month.
If you’re giving these pretzel kisses as a gift, remember that they’re mainly chocolate, so don’t leave them in the sun or in a warm car. You might also want to put them in a cute treat bag or pretty treat box!
