If you are like most of us, you grew up on mac and cheese and are more than happy to eat it as an adult. Whenever I make it for the kids, they pretty much don’t even talk while they are busy eating. This homemade baked mac and cheese is so good that you can literally eat it all by itself. No main course required! Whenever someone has a new baby, moves into the area, or has had a funeral, I like to bring them some food. My baked mac & cheese is my most requested dish, and I am happy to make it. I double the batch, keep one for home, and deliver the other.

The Best Homemade Baked Mac And Cheese

Ingredients

8oz shredded cheddar cheese
8oz shredded Monterey Jack cheese
1 1/2 cups cooked elbow macaroni
5 Tablespoons butter
3 Tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 cups whole milk
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon pepper

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. In a large skillet, melt 3 Tablespoons of butter.

I have the best homemade baked mac and cheese recipe for you! It’s easy to make, will please any crowd, and is the perfect side to so many meals!


Ingredients
