It’s officially time for Christmas cookies! While I love making Christmas cookies from scratch, Christmas is a pretty busy season, and I don’t always have time to go through the process of making cookies. Which is when I turn to semi-homemade Christmas cookie hacks like this one! Here’s how to make fun Fudge Round Reindeer Cookies from commercial cookies!

I used Fudge Rounds from Little Debbie to make these cute fudge round reindeer cookies. They’re definitely not the healthiest treats, and I don’t like to let my kids have them often, but it’s the holidays, and there’s nothing wrong with a little indulging! But really, these fudge round reindeer could be made with any round cookie (though obviously, a different cookie would change the overall taste). Oreos are a different sandwich cookie that you might want to consider as a substitute. Or you could try cookies from your grocery store bakery, or Lofthouse cookies, or the cookies you get in a food gift tin. If you’re the forward thinking sort, when you do bake fresh homemade cookies, you could make some extra ones to turn into these reindeer. You really can’t go wrong combining reindeer decorations with cookies!
