Here are some tips to consider before you start on your cutlery upcycle projects:
- Clean with Baking Soda and Vinegar. Let the silverware soak in 1/2 cup of vinegar and 2 Tbsp of baking soda for 2-3 hours. Then rinse with cold water and let dry. Your silverware should be shiny and bright again.
- Polish with a microfiber cloth. Shine your silverware up with a microfiber cloth to really get it glowing!
- Check yard sales, thrift stores, or consignment shops. You may be able to find old silverware at any of these places for cheap! Plus, the projects would look just fine if the silverware’s patterns don’t match.
