I confess, straight line sewing isn’t hard, and there are lots of things you can make if you can sew a straight line. But I often don’t want to mess with setting up my machine (because invariably, I never have the right color thread in the bobbin)! Isn’t it great that we have the option of using all those fabulous fabrics out there to make something one of a kind for our homes…with NO SEWING!
15 No Sew Home Decor Projects
- Prewash your fabric. To avoid shrinkage, prewash your fabric before you begin your project. It also helps stop your dyes from bleeding.
- Iron your fabric. Ironing your fabric before you begin helps you get straight, crisp cuts and folds. The wrinkles are gone and will help create a better project.
- Get very sharp scissors. You want straight cuts and sharp edges to make your projects crisp and beautiful.

Hello ~ I’m visiting from the Pinworthy Projects Link Party. I love these ideas! I’m learning to sew, but I’m not very good at it yet, so no-sew is often a better option. I especially love the table runner with the pom pom trim. I’m strangely obsessed with poms poms lately! :0) Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!
