By Manuela Williams

Clothespins are such useful little things! You can hang your clothes to dry with them or they can hold a bag of potato chips closed.  Here are some creative ways to repurpose and upcycle ordinary clothespins!

If you don’t already have some, clothespins can be found at the dollar store, the big box stores, grocery stores, and just about anywhere!

Upcycle & Repurpose: Ideas for Clothespins

  • Versatile. Clothespins are easily adapted from what they were created for. With so many options, one can use old clothespins for wreaths, hangers, baskets, planters, candleholders, and even ornaments.
  • Quick, Easy, and Cheap. The clothespin craft projects are very economical and do not take long to remodel into incredible works of art.
  • Trendy and Stylish. Who knew clothespin crafts could look so amazing hanging on your wall? Create a beautiful country shelf, a napkin holder and trivet for the kitchen, or even a beautiful angel wall hanging that will add a new fashion statement to your home.

Lots of creative ideas thanks for sharing them. I remember growing up, the only ones creating anything out of clothespins were children in school, scouts, etc. Wow – have we come a long way. 😀
    Enjoy your evening.

I have lots of wooden clothespins here, but I use them for the most basic of chores – to keep chips bags, bags of cookies, cereal and whatever else I can think of shut.

    I do love that wreath!
