I’ve been trying to find ways to save some money since I’m on a mission to re-do my hall bath and the first place I always look to cut expenses is my grocery bill. I guess that’s the one most of us tackle first! I do the usual cutting coupons, shopping for my pantry, and menu planning but there are always more ways to cut costs.

Did you know that if you have say a Target coupon you can use a manufacturer’s coupon on top of that? Two different coupons for one item! Now, I’ve always known that I just never made the effort to do it.
Did you know that there are sites on the web that tell you how to combine your coupons with sales to get the most for your shopping dollar? I knew this too but never really used them.
Did you know that there are sites where you can print out coupons and sites where you can load coupons onto your shopper card? Yep, knew this too but hardly ever did it!
Well I’ve finally started doing these things and I got some really good deals this week. I thought I’d share some of the links that I’ve been using with you. Now I do have to say that it takes a bit of time to look through the deals and print the coupons. But if you need to trim your grocery budget some more it would be worthwhile to have a look. If there are things that you would by anyway why not pay less!
Or if an item is free after coupons, why not get it and give it to someone you know can use it or wait till you have a bunch and give someone a nice care package. Donating to food pantries is always an option if you find something for free and it’s not something your family eats or uses.
Money Saving Mom. She always posts lots of different freebies and deals. You really have to check her several times a day. These two are from her:
For a free down load of Larry Burkett’s Money Matters at Logos.com
Load coupons onto your shopper card Cellfire
Frugal Living and Having Fun lists weekly coupon matchups at Target, Walgreens, CVS, Shaws, WalMart and Rite Aid! She also gives you the links to the printable coupons you can use in these deals.
Save at Home Mommy even has Restaurant coupon links!
Check out i Mommies. They also list weekly deals at Target and other places.
This is my new favorite place Organic Grocery Deals.com. You do have to register in order to be able to print coupons etc. but I haven’t received any SPAM or unwanted emails from them yet.
I saved $8 off my Target bill this week and I even got an item for free! I paid 99 cents for a bottle of A1 Steak sauce which we love and were out of and several other things and I wouldn’t have used some of the coupons I used if I hadn’t checked out those web sites and been alerted to the deals.
