I suggest doing these free printable Christmas word searches with a pencil. You could also use a pen, colored pencil, or highlighter, but a pencil just makes the experience more stress-free. Which is what this is supposed to be! A word search is supposed to be a fun, relaxing way to spend 15 minutes, where you can forget about all the holiday madness and just focus on finding some Christmas-themed words!
And did you know that word searches are more than just fun ways to relax? They’re actually really good for your brain, whether you’re young or old! For kids, they help them with word recognition, vocabulary, spelling, and pattern recognition. Word searches also train pattern recognition in adults and seniors. It’s a very important mental function, as it’s what allows your brain to take in information and realize what that information means. So doing puzzles like these are a great way to keep your brain fit and healthy!
