Easter China Cabinet

By Manuela Williams

I like to celebrate the holidays by adding some special seasonal touches around the house. It’s tradition in our home. I think my family would think there was something wrong with me if I didn’t do a little something!  This year I kept my Easter decorations just to my living room china cabinet and my fireplace mantel.  I’m sharing my Easter China Cabinet today.

Easter Bottle Brush Trees

I had plans to make a few crafty Easter decorations but because I’ve already been spending half the day outside (the weather has been just gorgeous), I just never had the time or really the energy to do  a lot of Easter crafting.   However I did make this fluffy wreath. Here’s the tutorial for this Easy Easter Wreath in case you missed it.

DIY Easter Wreath

Most of these decorations I’ve used every year. I just find new ways to use them.

Running Bunny from Target

I did buy this bunny at Target this year. Many years ago they had a much larger one that I missed out on.

Here are a few more photos:

This is a shot of the entire top half of my newly painted china cabinet (the bottom is plate storage). I’m so happy I painted it! I really love that color.

I love the color. And thanks for the bottle brush idea……….someone sent me the cutest little ornament carrots and I don’t have anything to put them on. I will have to paint one of my bottle brush trees…….or bleach them……I think that’s how they got them white.

Yes, you soak them in bleach. I have a Christmas bottle brush tutorial here where it shows how to bleach them before dyeing them https://acultivatednest.com/2009/11/dyeing-bottle-brush-trees/

I just love your holiday decorating style. The whole cabinet looks wonderful, but my favorite shelf is the one with the eggs and Target bunny. I just love those leaping bunnies out there in blog land. I want one!

Gorgeous! I have to ask – where did you get those adorable Easter trees? And how about the wooden plate racks? Thanks!

The Easter trees I’ve had for a while. I probably got them at TJMaxx. The wooden plate displays I got at Linens ‘n Things.

Hi Manuela, boy I love it whenever you decorate your hutch. It always amazes me what you do. I love plates, plate racks, hutches and never tire of seeing them fixed especially for holidays. Glad you were out in the gorgeous weather. I bought some flowers today and they just made me so very happy! Yay.
    Blessings,
    Debbie

I love all of your springy decorations. I haven’t done any Easter crafting either – too nice outside. But I think I will try to some this weekend.

I love it! I have a weakness for bunnies. I also think the baby chicks in the wreath are adorable, too. Your painted cabinet is gorgeous. Spring is truly all over the place in your home!

Manuela, You always decorate so cute for the holidays! Love how you put every thing together in your china cabinet. Which looks really good in its new paint color, btw Oh, I’m so glad that your new chicken is only concrete! LOL I just don’t get the attraction with so many people raising real ones. My goodness, even Tori Spelling got in on the act!
