Megan at Brassy Apple made these really cute pillows. I love the little added embellishments she put on them!  Go here to find out how she made them. Her tutorial is so easy to follow.

So cute! I rescued a pale blue chenille baby blanket from the curb a while back–it was sticking out of a bag of what looked like leftover yard sale treasures–I didn’t steal someone’s blankie! 🙂 Anyways, there are a couple of stains but I’m planning to make a pillow or two out of it.

Will look at the links; I agree with you about always linking to and pinning from the original post; it’s the respectful thing to do since we’re using their info!

Oh I do remember the red pillow. It was the inspiration for my using a favorite vest, a gift from my mother, for one. I highly recommend using sweaters with buttons as it provides that automatic opening for no fuss, no muss pillow making and has the added feature of being removed for easy washing.

I LOVE the pillow you made! I am making pillows from tattered Oriental rugs. LOTS of work to sew through! LOL!
    Thanks for visiting me!

Many many years ago I made some beautiful pillows out of old velour shirts. Those pillows were so easy to make and they were cozy and soft and beautiful! Thanks for the sweater idea. These would be fun too…as also cozy to feel and touch. (:>)

    Love, Linda

Love the red chair, I want to paint everything red now! If you find a wool sweater that will work for a pillow, but is the wrong color you could dye it: http://www.ehow.com/how_8787130_dye-wool-sweater.html Just make sure to use an old pot, it will no longer be food safe after using it for dye.

Those are gorgeous! I saw sweater pillows in Pottery Barn last year and they cost a fortune!
