I’m so happy the weather is getting warmer so I can spend more time outside. You all know that I love to garden, but I also just like to sit outside with my family, or alone with a good book. The only problem is that my outside area isn’t well light. So I wanted to find some DIY outdoor light projects to make my backyard more useable. - Try Solar. I plan to use only solar lights this year, so I don’t have to worry about an outlet being close and plugging them in when the sun goes down.
- Store them during the winter. To ensure the longevity of your outdoor lights, pick them up and store them when the weather gets cold. I also like to pick mine up if I know a storm is going to come through. This keeps them from getting broken and in the best shape.
- Use a Combination. I like a lot of these lights so I plan to use a few of several different designs. This will allow me to have some that sit on a table or on the ground, and others that are hanging. I want to make sure that people can see when it gets really dark.
