We’re a little crazy about those canned cinnamon rolls you can buy in the refrigerated section of grocery stores! I know, I know…not the healthiest things to eat. But they’re a quick dessert/snack and we like that we can all frost them with as much or little (in our case) frosting as we like. Here’s a easy breakfast recipe using these rolls – Turkey Bacon Cinnamon Rolls!

At least adding a protein will slow down the sugar 🙂 Of course you can make this recipe with homemade cinnamon rolls if you prefer (I’ve never tried to make them).
Turkey Bacon Cinnamon Rolls
1-2 package of Grands! Cinnamon Rolls
1 package of turkey bacon, any brand
Directions –
#1. Preheat the oven according to the cinnamon rolls package directions.
#2. Open the can of cinnamon rolls and unroll each cinnamon roll one at a time.
#3. Open the package of turkey bacon and take 1 slice at a time and lay on top of the unrolled cinnamon roll. Roll the cinnamon roll back up and place on your baking sheet.
#4. Repeat with all the cinnamon rolls.
#5. Bake according to the package directions.
#6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool and few minutes prior to frosting.
*If using 1 can of cinnamon rolls you will have turkey bacon leftover. I only used one can and had ½ a package left over so buy an extra can if you want to use it all. Regular bacon is too fatty for this recipe. You have to par bake it first.
I know a lot of people like to serve cinnamon rolls for special breakfasts like Christmas morning – these would be perfect for that!

I will admit to a love of those cinnamon rolls – my mother worked and like to have something easy for us. So, those cinnamon rolls have childhood memories attached.
