The sweet and scrumptious fruit filling covered with a crisp topping and baked into individual servings make them the perfect ending to any meal. Truly a simple recipe to put together even though it will seem like you went to much more trouble than you actually did!
Apple Pear Crisp In A Jar
Ingredients:
3 medium apples
2 pears
¼ cup all-purpose flour
¼ cup brown sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. vanilla
Topping:
4 Tbsp. butter, cold
¼ cup brown sugar
¼ cup oatmeal
2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
Serves 4
Directions:
Preheat 350°
Peel and dice apples and pears into small pieces.
Toss apples, pears, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla together in a large bowl, mixing well to coat evenly.
Chop butter, and place it in a separate bowl with brown sugar, oatmeal and flour-using a fork to mix to create a crumbly topping.
Coat the inside of a pint mason jar with nonstick spray.
Distribute filling evenly among jars, you will want to slightly overfill each jar as mixture will shrink down as it cooks.
Place equal amounts of topping over each jar, pressing down onto filling.
Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for easy clean up.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until top is golden brown and lightly crisped.
Serve with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream if desired. Enjoy!

I’m gonna have to try this-I just defrosted my deep-freeze and found pears I didn’t remember I had, along with the apples I knew were there. This sounds like a perfect use for them. Thanks for sharing it!
