• Marinate your meats- At least one hour of marinating will help infuse your meats with extra flavor.
• Cut your veggies evenly- This will help them all cook at the same rate.
• Soak your skewers- Soaking wood skewers is critical to preventing them from burning up in the heat of the grill. If you don’t have much time, then 30 minutes of soaking is fine. But technically, soaking them overnight is ideal.
• Brush olive oil on your kabobs- This will help keep them from sticking to the grill grates.
• Allow kabobs to rest for 5 minutes before serving- This helps to keep the flavorful kabob juices inside the meat/veggies for a few minutes to really perfect the flavors. If the skewers are removed too soon, those juices will run out instead of soaking into the meat/veggies.
