Always some good ideas here… I especially like the painted tile one and I have been saving those cardboard tubes for something.

I finally discovered the “problem” with your zucchini (in former years). They need to be pollinated and if the bees don’t do it, that leaves you. (Found my daughter-in-law cross pollinating zucchini plants with a q-tip and said, “aha, that might have been Manuela’s troubles.”)

I’ve been thinking the same thing! I think I’m having success this year because I interplanted lots of flowers and that brought in more pollinators. So far I have quite a few zukes. Good thing they freeze so nicely!

Aren’t there some great things out there in Blogville? Love your toile pillows. I never leave toile things either. They have to come home with me. Your garden is delightful. Mimi

Mmmmmmmmmmm, this blogging place has found the perfect remedy to the *dreaded* Word Verification Setting! By asking a reader to simply “check the box to confirm that you are NOT a spammer.”

    Brilliant!!!!!!!!!
