Pumpkin Marshmallow Bites

Ingredients

Pumpkin marshmallow bites ingredients

Large marshmallows
Wilton Candy Melts – in orange
Skewers or similar sticks
Green candy coated sunflower seeds
Green Wilton Sparkle Gel

Directions:

Pumpkin marshmallow bites

1. I like to work in small batches, so I microwave about half of a bag of candy melts according to the package directions. Dip a stick into the candy melts and press onto the marshmallow. This prevents the stick from coming out when you spoon on the melts. Set aside until firm.

2. For these pumpkins, I wanted somewhat of an irregular look, so I stirred and stirred and stirred and let my candy melts harden just a little bit before I used a spoon to cover the marshmallow.
3. Begin by covering the bottom of the marshmallow, where the stick attaches to the marshmallow. Twirl the rest of your marshmallow in a spoon coated with candy melts. Finish by coating the top.

4. Add a green sunflower seed for the stem and use the green Wilton sparkle Gel to make vines. Let set until dry.
5. I like to dry my pumpkins upright, on the sticks, so I use small glasses full of white sugar to keep them upright. I also use the sugar in a repurposed tin can to keep the marshmallow bites upright on my party table. Enjoy!
