Old Fall Decorating Pictures

By Manuela Williams

Posted by Picasa

Hi everyone! I was looking through my old photos to see what I had done in the past for Christmas and found some old fall decorating photos that I had forgotten about and thought some of you might like to see. I’ve usually tried to enjoy each holiday as it comes. So I’ve never started Christmas decorating before Thanksgiving but this year will be different. I always feel rushed after Thanksgiving so I’m going to start making a few things and getting my boxes out now. Anyway, that’s why I was looking at old photos!

I love your soup tureens! The look like they are a nice creamy white color! The keys with the pinecone is very cute, too. I love looking at decor from past years ~ it helps me remember what I thought worked really well or didn't work at all.

Thank you for showing the picture of the turkey cup! Now I see what you were talking about! I'm going to use your idea about the pumpkins and hydrangeas. I just picked the most beautiful blue-green hydrangeas. They go so nice with my Blue Moon pumpkins! I was wondering how to display them together. Thank you so much!

Manuela, When do you start decorating for Fall? If you start decorating for Christmas just after Thanksgiving I was just wondering how long the Fall decorations are out?

You see, I have this love of Fall, and I want it to last a little longer, but it seems winter and Christmas crowd it out way too soon! Ha!

Not that I don't love Christmas too. I guess I just need to get an earlier start on Fall decorating so that I can enjoy it longer.

Love all of the pictures today,…you are an awesome decorator!

    So glad I follow you.

That is so funny – I've never put a Christmas decoration out before Thanksgiving. This year, I've been thinking I might get some of it out early. I think blogging might have something to do with my decision! Everything arrives so early in Blogville. I do serve about 30 people for Thanksgiving dinner, so I try to keep the fall look until after our guests are gone, but some rooms may begin to get the Christmas decor. Loved seeing all of your past fall decor. Of course, I always love seeing any of your decor. laurie
