Feeling Blue

By Manuela Williams

Hello! Thanks for stopping by today! I realized that June is just a week away and that means it’s time to start thinking about decorating my screened in porch.
decorating my screened in porch
This year I’m feeling kind of blue and white. Maybe because it’s already so stinkin hot!
blue hydrangeas in front of a blue mirror

Thinking about blue and white makes me feel cool. I picked some hydrangeas and put them in a milkglass vase from Goodwill. A little bit of the garden on the porch for us to enjoy!

Blue, white and yellow? Cause I don’t know if I’m up for repainting that buffet.

picture
The last couple of years I’ve used a lot of apple green and yellow on the porch.

But I’m ready for a change!

Bunny
I don’t have the money to change everything but I think I can make a slight color change without doing so! I think that will be enough to give me the feel I want – sort of beachy, coastal.

I know you all want to know how I’m doing with my to do list? Well….
redprimer

making progress… but still painting! It needs another coat and then I want to distress and glaze it. I don’t know how people manage to paint a big piece of furniture in one day! I’ve never been able to do it.  I did plant my herbs as you can see in the post below. I did not even get started on my kitchen project so that’s moved to next week. Hopefully, I’ll be able to post the completed halltree on Monday! I’m lovin it red!

Wishing you all absolutely wonderful weekends!

Manuela–Everything is so beautiful. You are so very creative and apparently have LOTS of energy and motivation. You are such an inspiration–that's why I love stopping by to visit. Of course that doesn't help me getting my work done! (;0)
I'm going back for another visit on your screened porch.

How beautifully inviting! I love yellow, blue and white together! It's one of my favorite combinations. It's so hard to imagine hydrangeas in bloom anywhere yet. :o) I was given a gift certificate for a plant nursery from my daughter for Mother's day. She suggested I buy a hydrangea as it reminds us of her grandma (my mother). That's exactly what I'm going to do. Have a wonderful weekend!
