DIY Natural Room Air Fresheners

Aren’t these gorgeous! She says the jars can be stored in fridge for 1-2 weeks so you make them ahead and they can be re-heated 2-3 times. I am so trying this! Be sure you read the comments for lots of suggestions on combining scents!

They look so pretty. I don’t do anything quite as nifty as I just heat water with cinnamon and lemon and anything really, especially if I want to freshen the air. I’ve always just begun to open windows a crack even if it is only thirty degrees out there. You always find the neatest things!

They look so pretty. I make my own potpourri, but I would like to try this too.

Aren’t they pretty! I’d make them just to look at them 🙂

I saw this on Facebook the other day. I don’t use any artificial room fresheners because of the chemicals in them, so I’ve always just opened my windows to air out the house and in the winter, I sometimes simmer a concoction of cinnamon, star anise, and orange on the stove. I like her combination of lemon, rosemary and vanilla – sounds perfect for spring!

How pretty they are! I never buy commercial air fresheners, but these homemade version sound wonderful.
