Because it’s easy to make tons of these, they would be great Memorial Day or Fourth of July desserts! Actually, they’d be good for a party celebrating any occasion! And of course, these cheesecake strawberries are great “anytime” desserts, too. Little kids can even help you put these together as an after-school snack!

If you’re lucky enough to have fresh strawberries growing in your garden, this would be a great recipe to use them in!

Cheesecake Strawberries

Ingredients

Cheesecake strawberries

Large strawberries
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup butter
1 tablespoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Pecans
Milk or dark chocolate chips

Directions

1. Wash your strawberries, then slice them in half lengthwise.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix together your cream cheese, butter, and vanilla.
3. Add in your powdered sugar and mix to finish the frosting.
4. Place a coupler and star frosting tip inside a large decorating bag, then scoop your frosting in. You could also put your frosting in a Ziploc bag with one bottom corner cut, or just use a spoon.

Cheesecake strawberries5. Frost the top of each strawberry.

Cheesecake strawberries6. Crush your pecans in a small Ziplock bag by hitting the bag of pecans with the flat side of a meat tenderizer (be careful not to hit the bag so much that it tears). Or you could quickly crush the pecans by putting them in a food processor.

Cheesecake strawberries7. Top off each frosted strawberry with crushed pecans.
8. Melt your chocolate chips in a small microwave safe bowl, on 50% power for 3-4 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted.
9. Pour your melted chocolate into a decorating bottle or bag (again, you could just use a Ziploc bag or a spoon).

Cheesecake strawberries10. Drizzle your melted chocolate on top of the strawberries.

Enjoy your homemade cheesecake strawberries!

If you want a sweet treat but don't want to spend forever putting it together, then you've got to make these easy and delicious cheesecake strawberries!
