Very simple and very nice for a Sunday lunch. It’s not quite lunch time here and it is very windy and cold, but nice. Have a great Sunday.

Happy Sunday Manuela….thanks for stopping by my blog. If you like books your going to have to go to the library book sale next time, It will be sometime in March and it really is alot of fun. This was the first year we actually managed to show up when it opened on Friday and there was a wonderful selection of books. Especially cookbooks. You can also join the Friends of the Library for $10.00 and get to go the night before for all the really good stuff. Do you live in Marietta? Sue

Manuela,
You know what I really love about you and your blog?
When I first started to read your blog I was not sure I could relate (because my life and home are very very modest). I quickly changed my mind though. You are warm and welcoming to everyone.
We have a similar frugal mindset, and I really enjoy how you make even basic everyday things seem special. Thank you for that, because you’re an inspiration to me in an area that I’m not very talented.

I love a simple lunch on nice dishes with cloth napkins. The details make everything special. BTW, this past week I found 8 Johnson Bros. turkey salad plates at Marshalls for a reasonable price. I’ll use them with my Johnson Bros. British Castles pink transferware. Thanks for answering my question about your turkey bowl. Have a great week. Sally

A beautiful setting takes a regular lunch and elevates it to something not so regular. Very pretty.
My mom made that with broccoli, and sometime she put kielbasa in it. Good memories flooded my mind as soon as I saw it.
Mmmm, my kids would enjoy that.

OOOh, love the FV platter. I have FV, too, but I keep finding new pieces I don’t have but would love to own! Maybe I should start a FV mad money envelope to buy extra pieces when I find them! That is lovely!
And I love how your newly redone dining room looks…oh so pretty! I love your platters, and it all looks so good. I was going to suggest a long wrought iron piece for that space, and then I read further to see that’s what you were considering! I look forward to seeing your living room!
