Ruler Rice Krispies
Ingredients
10 oz bag miniature marshmallows
3 Tablespoons softened butter
6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
Yellow food coloring
1 cup Wilton black melting candy
Directions
1. In a large bowl, combine your marshmallows and butter and heat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Then mix in a few drops of yellow food coloring.
2. Mix in 6 cups of Rice Krispies cereal until your cereal is completely covered in your yellow marshmallow mixture.
3. Grease a 9 x 13″ baking pan with butter and press your marshmallow mixture into your pan firmly (I used my potato masher to do this).
4. Freeze your bars for 30 minutes to set. Then slice them into 1.25 x 4.5″ bars (doesn’t need to be exact).
5. Heat your black candy melts in the microwave on 50% power for 2-3 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Pour the melted candy into a decorating bag.
6. Cut a small tip off the end of the decorating bag and draw several lines (inch, 1/2″, and so on) with your black melted candy.
7. Draw the numbers next to the lines. Let set for around 5 minutes, then enjoy your ruler Rice Krispies!
