Roosters & Hydrangeas

By Manuela Williams

I found a couple of good deals this week. First I found a set of 4 vintage looking rooster plates at….where else….TJ Maxx for $6.99!

I needed something for my dining room on sides of the patio doors. So I split up that Fleur di Lis art that I did and put one on each side of the door and put the plates underneath.

Left side above & right side below.

Then I went to Michael’s and all the fall foliage was 80% off! I got some things for 59 cents! I bought some faux fall things to use next year and since I love hydrangeas I bought some of those to use now. They had some yummy fall colors of red, brown and one with a bit of purple.

I’ve had this iron urn since forever. It’s very rusty and old looking. You know, you can never have too many urns!

Last but not least, I went to Target this week and bought the cutest dish scrubber for $1.29! It’s in the linen section. I haven’t used it, but everytime I have to go to my sink it makes me smile!

It’s been so nice and chilly here but for the most part sunny that I’ve been spending most of my time outside. Fall is such a beautiful time of year! I hope y’all have a great weekend!

Your golden is so beautiful! Another great idea for shelters is donating old blankets and towels. One shelter I volunteered for used those instead of newspapers in the cages. Much more comfy!

    Thanks for stopping by!

    And your plates look great!

Hello Manuela – I’m busy still trying to catch up with everyone! What a marvelous time I had and now so many images to share – the South Of France is such a beautiful area and there was so much to see!

You are staying busy – and your home, as always, is looking just delightful. My plan is to try to stay away from china shops – I must edit and simplify! I keep saying this I know, now I must do it! So you can have all the pretty dishes from here on out – but I will still hoist a heavy, charming urn home any day, ha! ha!

    Enjoy the week.
    Hugs – Mary.
