New Dining Room Tray

By Manuela Williams

Hi everyone! In the past few months, I’ve found two more trays to add to my collection that I have hanging in my dining room.

Mirror
I don’t have any hangers for them yet so I thought I’d place the smaller one on the black chest for now and added some some fun yellow faux flowers (Michael’s has so many that are 80% off because apparently summer is over and we should all be buying fall foliage).

Runner
I placed them in a white soup tureen and  I used one of my red toile runners underneath it all.

Trays
I found a larger tray like those on the wall (though in not as good a shape) that I hope to be able to hang this week. So maybe I’ll be able to show you them all at the end of the week, if not, next week for sure.

flowers&tray
I hope you all had wonderful weekends! We got some much needed rain so everything is thriving and the lawn needs mowing. Off to do that now!

Thanks for stopping by!

Very pretty…the summer flowers in the soup tureen are wonderful. Summer's over? Have the school ads begun to run yet? That's the usual harbinger of summer's end.

I do hope you come and visit me again soon. Until then. Have a wonderful new week…Oh, and love your collection of trays. You've done an excellent job displaying them.

    Hugs and Kisses,

    Dear Manuela,
Gorgeous! I love your trays…the black pops right off the yellow. Just beautiful.

Yesterday I went to our local A.C. Moore. I commented about all the Fall items out and the manager laughed and told me she had Christmas ribbon in her stockroom that had just arrived!

    Yikes!!!!

WOOT! I love them. I have found two new trays too! They are not hanging yet. But I love them.
Yours are all beautiful. I do love the tole trays and the splash of black accent they bring. Plus they speak "vintage" ….my grandmother's days!
    Thanks for sharing.

    Hi Manuela,
I'm so happy to know that you needed the rain. We got lots more and we DON'T need it. Although, I must say our lawns and trees are very green and gorgeous this summer.
Now, to your lovely new trays. They are very pretty! I love both of them and your faux flowers look wonderful, too. I love seeing photos of your home. It's so tastefully colorful.

That vignette looks mah-va-lous! Love the arrangement of trays on the wall too, of course. I look for them while out thrifting, but I never ever see any. There are great bargains on summer faux flowers right now. But, I think summer stuff gets clearanced way too early. I wanted something at Target earlier in the week, went back to the seasonal corner and found school supplies. sheesh, in my day you didn't see that til the end of August for school in Sept. Now, there are Christmas displays up in Aug. in many stores.
Enjoy the rest of summer! hugs, Sue

Hi Manuela, you have the most beautiful tray collection – wow! I always enjoy seeing them. About Decatur, I'm not sure about a place like A Classy flea in Marietta. I'll check and see. Debbie & I like the Queen of Hearts in Alpharetta., and she also goes to the Queen of Hearts in Buford. I think there is one in Marietta???? Will let you know when I find out something more. Linda
