Happy Easter!

By Manuela Williams

A few more pictures of Easter decorations around our home. Some pretty vintage Easter Postcards. The art work is always so much nicer on vintage cards than the newer ones!

Instead of hanging our eggs outside. I hung them off the same branches that I used for Valentines Day (the Valentine Tree ).

I hope each of you has a wonderful weekend and Easter. I have some gardening and quite a bit of cleaning to do so I’ll be back on Monday.

A wonderful weekend to you, Manuela. I think I’m going to steal your Easter egg tree idea. I’ll just need to pick up some plastic eggs and a bit of ribbon. It’ll be just enough to spruce it up a bit. Thanks!

Happy Easter to you and your family too!

Manuela, my hydrangaes are hoping you might do a blog on the best way to care for them. I have 3 that we planted the summer of 2007 and they are all still alive and bloomed a little but they have not thrived.
I’ve learned from you that I did not water them enough. And I am wondering about trimming them and what they would like to be fed.
So if you have want to and have time, some tips on caring for hydrangaes would make 3 Oklahoma plants very happy. thanks!

I love vintage post cards and collect them also. You have some great ones, and I adore that bunny rabbit holder. I laughed when I saw your comment on my blog about missing my header. I’m wondering if other visitors feel that way. I just got kind of tired of seeing the same thing each time I went to my blog, so I thought others might also be tired of it. (I think I’m going through a mid-life blogging crisis!) The funny thing is, you are only the 2nd visitor who has even mentioned the change, so I’m not sure if others just haven’t noticed it, or if they just didn’t want to tell me they don’t like it! LOL! Thanks for coming by. laurie

You have more than I! lol The wanting more post got to me! lol For I want to go shopping soon as I feel a wee bit better! I have money from Birthday presents. I want to hit TJ Max or Marshalls! lol Yes I want more! Who doesn’t, I think the answer is Live within our means! Just like my home, we are remodeling after tearing it upside down! lol Its going slowly! But I have painted walls in the dining room! I got a door painted to go into the Butlers Pantry, I won! Yeah! I get to get one! I going to use it for Beverage counter, and Hubby does not know, but I gave up a glass in porch for a half bath and my butlers pantry, and I want a French door to go out to a round glassed in Porch, that I may never get! lol But we are closing off one door and Hubby going to change out the Kitchen door from French to half glass. I have plans for the French door! Yes a door to my glass round room! One day. lol Have a Happy Easter!

    Happy Easter!

I agree with you that vintage cards are much prettier than modern day ones. I’m so glad that my relatives saved all of theirs so that I could inherit them.

I really liked the Easter display that you showed the other day. I can never quite group things to make them look nice the way you do.
