Dining Room Collections Continued

By Manuela Williams

Hi everyone! I  wanted to show you my wall of trays now that I’ve hung the newest ones.

new trays
These are the  two new trays. The smaller tray I showed you before but now it’s on the wall with all the others.

Disclosure: This post may contain affiliate links to Amazon and/or Etsy, which means that I may earn a small commission from some of the links in this post. Please see our Disclosure Page for more information.

4trays
I’ve grouped the three trays that have Blue Willow in them.

hanging trays on a wall
I’ve gotten all of these trays thrifting with the exception of that smaller one which I won on ebay.
Sideview
People always ask me what style of trays these are. They’re not handpainted tole trays. Which are really pretty and much easier to find. These are tin litho trays.
collections displayed on the wall
It’s taken me about 5 years to get just that wall of trays (I have two more in the kitchen). I know some people have found them at garage sales. I just want ONE MORE to go over the doorway. I’m still looking for the bunny one that quite a few bloggers have! That’s really the one I want! Email me if you have one and would like to swap something for it (fat chance- I know~smile)!
Shakers
Also, I wanted to show you the salt and pepper shakers that Viola (A Long Widowed Road) sent to me.

Viola's
They’re the glass pairs in the center front (the cute little ones and the ones with the amber feet). They’re from the 40’s/50’s and I think they make a lovely addition to my salt and pepper shaker collection. Wasn’t that so sweet and generous of her! Thank you Viola – I love them!

Thanks for dropping by and I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

Those trays look lovely in the room. I need to show this to my mother. She has some trays like that (the tin not tole painted). She would love it.

The new additions to the s/p collection are pretty too. Lucky you!

I hope you are going to participate in that "Show us your roosters party" (can't remember where at this moment for some oddball reason). You have such a fun collection.

    Manuela,

I swannee!! I can't believe it. Your newest tray with the berries in the bowls – that is one of my newest ones I mentioned to you!! Wow! WE not only think alike, we somehow, mysteriously shop alike finding the same treasures! I found mine at a little consignment store for a song. Question – my son asked me, what are the white berries on the far right????? I can't say!
I have a duplicate on the bunny trays that I have found. Two are a pair, and then I found another thrifting that matches one of the pair but is in hues of blue. I want you to have it. I don't need it for goodness sake.
Send me your mailing address, and I will begin to look for a box that it will fit in!!!!
Hugs and love to you, my very sweet bloggy sister. I am thrilled to have a tray that you cannot find, and I don't need. I too, love these beautiful trays and especially the pop of black they add to a room. sweet detail.

It's always interesting to see when some gal is doing a different thing. You're the only gal I know who displays her trays on the dining room wall. I doubt that you'll be the only one I know for long. I have one tray somewhat like this, not as pretty, not as uniquely edged, but I use it to carry things to the deck. Gheesh. I've just got to get out of my box.

Hi Manuela – I love your black trays. I'm partial to the tole ones, and have not wanted to pay the price for them. I ran across one for $10 at a garage sale and snapped it up. It just takes time, doesn't it? But I'm convinced that if you wait and watch long enough you'll find just what you're looking for at a great price! Good job!

I LOVE the top-left tray! Those colors are so pretty! I was at Goodwill today and saw a plate that I thought looked like one you would have in your home. It was white with almost red (may have been red at one time but faded to a deep, pretty burgundy) on it, and a rose right in the center. I wish I had picked it up, now! It made me smile to think of you. : )
