I added a few Christmas decorations to my Ikea bookcase that I wanted to show you. My red farm truck is off to deliver Christmas presents and a tree!
I think this truck is going to be loads of fun to play around with all year long!

I made this snowglobe with a battery operated dollhouse light fixture and a canning jar. This is an easy winter/holiday craft!
How many ways can you upcycle a Ball Jar? Love this! It looks so pretty at night. This is super easy. Basically you just glue whatever it is that you want in your globe to your lid and fill the jar with some fake snow, screw the lid on, turn it upside down and you have a waterless snowglobe. I think one of those battery operated Christmas candles would be pretty too.
I find my Christmas decorations slipping into all kinds places around my home!

Your decorations are looking so good! I love the truck idea. Every season you will have a neat place to put “stuff” 🙂

I love both of them, Manuela! I love seeing the trucks with the little trees in them. I may have to look for a truck myself for next year to do this. Love your idea of putting that little light into the jar. It looks so pretty.

Love the way it looks…each shelf stands alone, yet it all works together. One favor: would you please right your red book…A Redbird Christmas…it’s standing on its poor little head. =D
Manuela says
LOL! Yes I know it is in the photo. I already changed it. I just didn’t want to re-take the photo.

I think I’m asking Santa to bring me a lovely old little red truck!!
Shelia says
Morning, Manuela! Oh, how sweet and I just love your little truck with all the Christmasing inside. The snow globe is just a great touch. You’re so creative! 🙂
Be a sweetie,

That’s a really cool truck & love the snow globe idea.

I love the truck and the snow globe. The globe is simple but very cute. I can hardly wait to see what else you do with that truck. Is it old or a reproduction?
Manuela says
Reproduction. I did look at vintage toy trucks but they are very, very expensive in half way good condition. This one is from Hobby Lobby at 50 or 40% off and gives me the look I was going after.

I always love stopping by to see what you’ve done in your home but Christmastime is even more exciting! I love your Christmas farm truck and all the things you’ve done to bring the season inside. I saw a yellow farm truck when we were in Washington last week. I’ll share it on my blog later today – and, oh, how I wish I had brought it home with me!

Anything looks good in the jars with the snow. I made some last year with my littles and they stil are adorable. I love the truck. Did you buy it or find it. It matches my hubby’s fire truck.
Manuela says
Debby,
I bought it about two months or so ago at Hobby Lobby. They only had one at the time though. So I don’t know if it’s something they would still carry but it can’t hurt to look!
Melanie says
That vintage truck is my favorite…especially with the Christmas tree in the back. Love it!
