Hi everyone! I just had to pop in for a quick minute because I just had some delicious bread that I made using Julie’s (The Harward’s Circle Cliff Views) recipe. How can you go wrong with a bread that’s called “The Easiest and Best Bread Ever!”
I don’t know if it was supposed to rise more than it did but the texture was just outstanding and the flavor out of this world.
The only things I changed – I halved the recipe because it makes 4 loaves. I also went to the health food store this morning and ground some wheat (used half wheat half King Arthurs Bread flour), I used olive oil and local honey.
I feel great that I made a bread that’s not only delish but that’s good for my family. Go here for her recipe. We are so full of bread and jam I don’t think we need much dinner! Thank you Julie!

Thanks Manuela for linking to my bread recipe! How sweet of you to do that!
It is so good…I let it rise til it's about 1 1/2 inches above the pan then put it in the oven to bake.
It is a meal…I could live on it alone! I'm so glad it turned out to your liking! You are a sweet lady! Come say hi 😀

The bread looks delicious Manuela! The heavier whole wheat flour probably kept it from rising as high as normal. My sister-in-law adds extra gluten to her whole grain bread for a little boost in the rise. Nothing beats hot home made bread from the oven!

I just bought some ground wheat from our Farmer's Market for bread making and lucky for me the girl told me that I would need to cut it with gluten or regular flour so it would rise. She said by itself it makes wonderful pancakes!!! I plan to make mine on a regular basis..so tired of paying almost $4 a loaf for bread that is half stale!!
~ Looking forward to trying your recipe out!!
Blessings!!
Oh is that your homemade jam??
