Some of these we visit every day and others are just invaluable resources where we can pick and choose what we need. The 15 Best Free Homeschool Sites
Ambleside Online– If you are drawn to the Charlotte Mason style of homeschooling, then this site is a must have in your bookmarks! You can access books, book lists, and resources for preschool through high school.
Educents– You will find everything from games to workbooks and everything in between on this site, and they also offer printables. While some are paid there are many free printables available!
Teachers Pay Teachers– While this site is a great way for teachers to earn extra income, there are many downloads offered for free like printable themed studies, math worksheets, and copywork.
Khan Academy– With math, science, computers, arts and humanities, economics and finance, as well as test prep options, this is a solid site for learning, practice, and more!
Homeschool Share– You can find literature based unit studies and lapbooks to download, print, and use.
Hodgepodge-If you are not artsy and you still want to give your child options for electives like art, then this is a great resource with a generous offering of art tutorials in chalk pastels and acrylics.
Starfall– For young learners, this is a great math, reading, phonics and songs resource that can also be downloaded as an app for tablets.
Easy Peasy All in One Homeschool– This is a Christian program that offers complete online curriculum or individual courses for preschool through high school. They utilize things like the McGuffey Primer online, as well as online games and such to teach your child skills.
Free Homeschool Deals– This is the Cadillac of free homeschool sites! You will find every type of download you need in every age group. Games, dot marker pages, letter tracing, copy work, planners, Holiday studies, writing prompts, labels, challenge cards, and that is just the tip of the iceberg!
K5 Learning– This is a paid site but still offers free worksheets for grades 1-5 for vocabulary, reading comprehension, learning letters, math, and other topics.
Homeschool Freebie of the Day– Freebie of the day offers up a new free resource everyday. Search the archives if you are looking for something in particular.
CurrClick– Here you will find free printables, classes, and ebooks among the paid items. Worth a visit, and you will no doubt find a few things to grab for your own homeschool.
Notebooking Pages– I do have a membership here and use it regularly, but they also offer a lot of great free items for your use as well. Just click the free resources tab and have a peek around at all the freebies available!
Donna Young– This is one of the better known free homeschool sites in the homeschooling world. Donna Young offers many free printables including planners, calendars, and handwriting sheets.
Prodigy– A really fun and engaging math site that is curriculum-aligned for grades 1st-8th. It has my son begging to do math practice every day, and you can’t beat that!
Bonus #16: HomeschoolFree.org– While this is the Internet and many bloggers do post free online resources, the core of this site is for people to offer their homeschool curriculum items up for free to other homeschoolers for just the cost of shipping.
