20 Inexpensive Handmade Christmas Gifts

By Manuela Williams

I started the Frugal Christmas Gift Guide a few years ago and will be continuing it this year (the other posts are linked at the bottom). Over the next few weeks I’m going to share some ideas for inexpensive handmade Christmas gifts that are cute and easy (or fairly easy) to make that I’ve found on Pinterest. So let’s get started!

10 Inexpensive Handmade Christmas Gifts to Start Making Now.

Giving a handmade gift is a great way to celebrate Christmas.  It’s not too late to start making gifts!

Frugal DIY Christmas Gift Guide – 20 Homemade Gifts

  • Make things that are edible! Everyone loves baked goods, snack mixes, or pre-made mixes! These are simple to make, put in a mason jar, and decorate, and then you have a wonderful handmade gift that they will actually use and enjoy!
  • Don’t go overboard! It can be easy to think you need multiple elaborate gifts to please people, but they will be happy knowing that you took the time to make them something special and thoughtful.
  • Use what you have. You may be choosing to make homemade gifts because money is tight, so save even more money and use what you have. Glass jars, craft supplies, and bulk dry goods are great things that make a good foundation for a gift.

Thank you Manuela, I have done almost nothing for Christmas and these should help me get inspired.

So glad to hear that! I’ll have a few more Christmas Gift Guides as I find things that I think would be cute but easy and inexpensive to make.
