Also this pretty French tea towel.

People find they become more positive and have a happier outlook on life. Whether or not you believe that, it’s never a bad idea to be aware of the blessings, big or small, in life! What sweet items. I especially like the “Keep Calm and Do More With Less”. I teach personal finance at the high school level. I am constantly telling my students it’s not how much you make, it’s what you do with what you make that matters. If I win, I’m displaying it in my classroom. Happy New Year!!

Love, love the Keep Calm poster! I may just keep that as my motto for the coming year! I can’t believe that the year is almost over either, but I’m looking forward to it. 2012 wasn’t the best of years so I’m OK with putting it behind me and moving on to 2013. Love the hotpad as well. I always start the new year with “no shopping January”. It is difficult, but I am pretty good at sticking to it. And I am going to have to “make do with less” since I am seriously considering retiring this year. I am redoing vignettes all over the house and determined not to buy anything and just use what I have.
All the items in your giveaway are great. I think my favorite is the French tea towel.

I would love to enter your contest. I love your blog. You are so inspirational! My goal for 2013 is to get tough and get rid of some of my junk. Because I go to thrift stores and yard sales, I find things for so very cheap and sometimes even for free, so I drag it all home. Some of my things have become burdens to me because I am always having to move them from here to there. I’m tired of it and frankly I feel a bit like a hoarder or a selfish person, so it must go! The journal is something I used to do years ago…and I did it to help combat the ‘dull-drums’….it makes your heart merry for sure to count your blessings on a daily basis. I think you’ve inspired me to start this up again…

Dear Manuela, I can’t wait to see your daughter’s shop on ETSY! You sure picked out some great items for the giveaway! When we were little, Mom used to tell us that time really flew by even faster the older one gets, everytime we would complain how slow the days passed in anticipation for Christmas! I guess she was trying to warn us not to wish time away because one day we would wish it didn’t fly by so quickly! I always think of what she would tell us because at the time I didn’t really understand! Boy do I ever now!
