“Welcome to the Farm” Pillow for the Kitchen Windowseat

By Manuela Williams

I guess you could say I have a farmhouse style vibe going on in my kitchen. So when I went to TJMaxx and saw that they had a whole bunch of farmhouse themed pillows…well I just had to get one. It was hard choosing just one especially since they were so reasonably priced!

So I got “Welcome to the Farm”. They have a whole bin full of farm/rooster themed pillows at my TJMaxx!

I do have a couple of cow prints and other little touches without being too themey ( I hope!).

red rooster and gingham plate

Above the window seat  I have a plate holder that’s easy to change the plate out since it just slips in. Right now I have one of my favorite plates from the thrift store in it.

On the opposite side I have a window sign and a bulletin board that’s just decorative. I  pin different things on it depending on my mood. Right now I have a little sign made from a printable in my daughter’s etsy store.

I think I may have to stop with the “farmhouse” theme now!

Cute!! You’re so good at moving things around and being thrifty. Enjoy it as long as you want to and don’t worry…it looks great. 🙂

That pillow is adorable! I swear your TJ Maxx store has better things than mine! I love farmhouse style and yours is just right, not to heavy handed but fresh and pretty:>)

Pretty pillow, Manuela, and your kitchen looks so wonderful and cozy. I don’t think you’ve gone overboard with the farmhouse theme. I think you’ve got just the right amount of touches going on. Love that picture where you can see your dining room through the doorway. That window with the wording is great.

I love your farmhouse look, and I don’t think you’ve gone too far at all! It is easy to get carried away with a theme, but you’ve done a good job of adding little touches that all go together for a great look!

Thank you Richella! I could go crazy with cows, pigs and roosters! I did buy a teeny little white ceramic pig too 🙂

Thank you! I made those curtains a few years ago. I had more formal black and white toile ones before.

Like your farmhouse look! Have not been to TJM in some time – one of those stores I am trying to avoid these days.

I know it’s like Hobby Lobby! I haven’t been in a while myself and was able to go by myself for the first time in a long time. So I thoroughly enjoyed myself walking up and down all the aisles and taking my time to look at everything. The pillows were really inexpensive as pillows go 12.99!
