Just read your post over at Rhoda's, Manuela! Fun! I'll have to look through your blog for your toile rooms so I have an idea of what a big change this is for you.

It doesn't look like your other rooms, but I can still see your hand in it. About the only modern room that I think I could be comfortable in!

How nice of you to guest post for Rhoda. You are such a nice wife to change the decor of a room to reflect some of your husband's style and taste. Thanks for sharing w/us!

Great job on the table…did you use a spray or brush on black after primer?

    Thx

Wow! This is a big change in your decorating style. Looking forward to seeing what you paint the walls and replace the posters with. Love that table.

Your style is still great, even without the toile! (But I am sure it was hard to stay away from it, right?)

I just came from Rhodas blog and I was so surprised when I saw the room! I commented there that I was glad that you were so sensitive to your husbands preferences. Very sweet, and while it may not be what I expected, it is as well done and beautiful as everything else you do!

Wow! That was a surprise. I love what you did with the room though. You still have the great reds, blacks and yellows, just a more modern version! Great job!!
    Hugs,

Saw your post over at Rhoda's. LOVE what you did with the table. What kind of primer and what kind of paint did you use? I'm going to be painting my dining room suite, and the look of your end table is exactly the look I'm wanting.

And hey – I live in Atlanta too! We could be neighbors.

I think my house would be more cottage like if I didn't consider the fact that my husband lives here too. He trusts my decorating style. Most of the house is ours. I can make my craft-room as girly as I want, but the office and theater room are his!(A bit more contemporary also) I would say that's a fair compromise!

It's beautiful Manuela and I love love love that toile!!

I am picking up links for my list. I feel lost without it, since it disappeared!! Been busy with that most of this week. I came by to get yours and what a wonderful chair makeover, I found! We're redoing the master bedroom and I'm incorporating white furniture, but want to add some color too. That's why I did the little dresser in SW Front Porch. I love that color so much, we're painting our bathroom with that paint, too.

OOPS! I went over to my list and tried to add your link and it told me it is already there!! That's how much I love your blog, Manuela!:-)
