Help them keep track of how long it is until the big day with this DIY Dry Erase Christmas Countdown with Free Printable! Because you make your own dry erase surface (using any 8 1/2 x 11″ frame you have lying around), you’re able to easily clean and reuse the printable every day!

This is a fantastic project for kids! Each day they can wipe off the previous number, and over time see Christmas getting closer and closer!
DIY Dry Erase Christmas Countdown with Free Printable
Materials:
1 8 ½ x 11” Frame
Dry erase marker
Plain white paper or white cardstock
Color printer
Free Christmas Countdown Printable (download here)
Directions:
1. Print the “Christmas Countdown” printable document in color.
2. Clean the glass on the frame well before using. Remove the backing from the frame, and place the Christmas countdown printable in between the glass and frame backing, making sure it’s locked in place.
3. Use any color of dry erase marker to write the number of days until Christmas each day leading up to the date.
4. The frame can be cleaned each day by simply using a paper towel to remove the marks from the dry erase marker.
You can either hang your DIY dry erase Christmas countdown on a wall or door, or you can place it on a surface like a table or mantel. Consider surrounding the countdown’s frame with other Christmas decor for a delightful holiday arrangement!
