- 3 medium apples
- 2 pears
- ¼ cup all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- Topping:
- 4 Tbsp. butter, cold
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup oatmeal
- 2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- Serves 4
Instructions
- Preheat 350°
- Peel and dice apples and pears into small pieces.
- Toss apples, pears, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla together in a large bowl, mixing well to coat evenly.
- Chop butter, and place it in a separate bowl with brown sugar, oatmeal and flour-using a fork to mix to create a crumbly topping.
- Coat the inside of a pint mason jar with nonstick spray.
- Distribute filling evenly among jars, you will want to slightly overfill each jar as mixture will shrink down as it cooks.
- Place equal amounts of topping over each jar, pressing down onto filling.
- Bake on a parchment paper lined baking sheet for easy clean up.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until top is golden brown and lightly crisped.
