Instant Pot Homemade Cranberry Sauce

  • Author: A Cultivated Nest

Description

Make your holiday dinner the most delicious one ever with this quick, easy, and inexpensive Instant Pot homemade cranberry sauce!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 ounces fresh cranberries (or frozen cranberries, if you don’t have fresh)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 34 tablespoons orange peel
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup orange juice

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to inner pot of the Instant Pot. Stir to combine.
  2. Close the Instant Pot lid and turn pressure valve to seal. Cook on manual high pressure for 6 minutes.
  3. Allow for a natural pressure release for 6 minutes and then let the remaining pressure out. Mash lightly.
  4. Put your homemade cranberry sauce in a container with a lid, but leave the lid a bit ajar so it can vent a bit. Let it cool down somewhat before putting in the fridge to chill. When you’re ready to serve, either take it straight from the fridge, or let it sit out until it reaches room temperature.
