Mostly a new attitude 
Thanks everyone for your comments & advice on my last post. I have contacted the Georgia Public Service Commission and the other parties involved (as have numerous other people). So we’ll see what happens. I’ll keep you posted. I’m moving on…worse things could happen.
I took a walk in my backyard recently and so many lovely things are happening! So much is blooming or getting ready to bloom in this Georgia yard.
The most interesting thing is that daffodils that I planted in November are blooming now! All my other older daffodils bloomed a few months ago. I didn’t think these newer ones were going to bloom at all this year.
There were only green leaves for the longest time but temps have cooled a bit and now I have the lovely surprise of having another bloom of daffodils!
Hundreds of little Morning Glories are popping up along the picket fence that surrounds my vegetable garden.
Even the hydrangeas are starting to flower!
Some things have come and gone already like the little purple flowers that grow in between the mosaic stepping stones.
Even the roses are in full bloom.
Hope things are greening up and blooming in your neck of the woods!

Wow, your garden is so far along! We had a good start with unseasonally warm weather in March, but it has been pretty cool for the past few weeks. Still no real blooms on anything but fruit trees althug our steawberries are rallying and blooming in spite of hard frosts! I love seeing what you have blooming and thinking about what is to come here. Your garden is gorgeous:>)

Your yard is spectacular! Is the dark pink a foxglove? I love it with the picket fence.
Bummer about the clear cutting every 5 years. They may do this here too. Since it’s not on my property, I didn’t talk to them. The crepe myrtles along the cleared patch grew back quickly, maybe you could do something like that?

No I didn’t make those. They were gifts.
Great flowers. Unfortunately where I live in New Jersey nothing is blooming. We have to wait yet. We are in the process of mulching.

pretty flowers…but really strange daffodils…
The daffodils Samuel planted in the fall have bloomed for the past two months one or two at a time. They were all planted the same depth, all planted at the same time, and one bag was all the same type. Doesn’t seem to have made a bit of difference. I suppose it’s like the two turkey foot oaks that stand just twenty feet apart. One blooms early and the other late. One changes color and sheds early and the other late. Personalities perhaps? lol
Things are SO green and loads of beautiful blooms at my house! I love walking around and seeing what is NEW:) Have a blessed evening, HUGS!
I’m so glad you contacted the PSC. Something really should be done to compensate for the loss, IMO.
As for your lawn and all the blooming beauty, I would just love to come stroll through it and enjoy it. I’ve been working in our back yard, but it doesn’t have flowers. Just badly tended grass. That’s why you can’t come stroll through mine. LOL

I’m glad your flowers are blooming beautifully, Manuela. Sorry to hear about your backyard foliage issue.Since technically that area was an easement I wonder if you and your neighbors will receive any compensation at all for the “approved” plant list.Good luck to you, all! What a crazy company to just come in and cut everything down!
My knockout roses are starting to bloom in the back yard and the lilacs in the front yard are starting to bud. The perennial geraniums are the only plants fully flowering- they add some needed color to the front yard. Despite the high temps we had in March, we have been experiencing frost warnings for the past few weeks. Strange weather……
Beautiful blooms! No perennials blooming here yet, but at least lots of green.
I would love to have them in my backyard! These flowers look so good. I think that is the drawback of living in big city like New York!
